The "Human Machine Party" (HMP) is a progressive political entity that seeks to revolutionise the current democratic systems by introducing a model of liquid democracy facilitated through advanced technology. This approach emphasises the delegation of votes to trusted individuals or machines, ensuring a more dynamic and responsive governance system. Basically, our very single policy is that we vote on what people, according to polls, want us to vote on each matter being discussed in the parliament. Most nations have a prime minister or a president. During national elections, elected politicians representing us in parliament also lead to the election of the national leader and government. Our single policy is to vote on what people want us to vote on in parliament for each item or law proposal being discussed.
In the HMP there are no good politicians and bad politicians, or more experienced or knowledgeable politicians than others, the only requirement to be eligible to become an Elected Politician (EP) is to be eligible to vote and to possess the fundamental literacy and numeracy skills acquired through the education system (within the legal framework of human rights and with a strong commitment to inclusivity and equality of opportunity, providing, when necessary, resources to help individuals improve their literacy and numeracy skills to meet the bare minimum requirements to become an electable politician). To decide which of the members will be candidates our policy is always to select the candidates randomly using a very simple and well-known algorithm that uses the hash of a designated block about to be mined (from the Bitcoin network) as the seed for the randomly generated pick.
This makes our politicians more neutral and willing to follow our single policy which is to follow the will of the majority as we go through the political discussion process, deciding everything according to what the latest polls indicate to be the will of the majority. So within our Party we don't vote, and instead use a highly verifiable and impossible to forge random pick to select candidates for specific roles.
The algorithm for the random pick is actually very simple and indeed ultra verifiable and difficult to forge. Simply list all eligible ones alphabetically in a numbered list. And then with the hash of a specific Bitcoin block that got a few confirmations apply the modulus operation using the hash value and the total number of listed items, incremented by one. The result of that modulus operation is the position number in the numbered list of the selected winner in that random pick.
Elected Politicians (EP) are bound to follow our single policy and to abide by the spirit of our highly democratic modern ideology, and if they don't comply with it may be cancelled by us and have to deal with us in a legal battle as we or anyone else may take legal action against them using the current legal mechanisms.
We need to address how we fit into the partisan democracy system if we don't believe there is a need for a main national leader. Our party will use the latest research from political scientists to develop an ideal direct democracy or a very fluid and modern liquid democracy. We will leverage social networks and platforms like X, Reddit, and collaborative tools like Wikipedia to achieve this.
Prominent political scientists at Harvard have been actively researching methods to modernise democratic systems, focusing on the potential of liquid democracy and direct democracy models. They suggest leveraging cutting-edge technology and social platforms to empower citizens with real-time decision-making capabilities. According to their studies, decentralising power and eliminating the need for a single national leader can enhance democratic responsiveness and inclusivity. These scholars advocate for the integration of blockchain technology from Microsoft Research #CARDANO to ensure secure and transparent voting processes, while platforms like X, Reddit, and Wikipedia can facilitate robust public discourse and consensus-building and widely auditable polling systems. By adopting these innovative approaches, the Human Machine Party can align itself with the latest academic insights, creating a more adaptive and participatory political framework.
The Human Machine Party acknowledges the entrenched structure of partisan democracy systems where governments and ministers handle specific domains. If our volunteer politicians were widely elected and capable of forming a new government, they would operate under a framework of supermorality in the age of AI systems. This concept, explored by ethicists like Peter Singer, emphasises the application of advanced ethical reasoning and utilitarian principles to governance. Volunteer politicians would strive to make decisions based on the greatest good for the greatest number, leveraging AI to analyse complex societal issues and predict outcomes. By integrating insights from Singer's work on animal liberation and utilitarianism, they would prioritise policies that promote welfare, sustainability, and global problem-solving. This approach aims to transcend traditional political motives, fostering a government that is both morally and technologically advanced, ensuring that every decision made aligns with the highest ethical standards for humanity and the planet.
Delegation of Votes: Citizens can delegate their votes to other individuals or machines, enhancing decision-making flexibility and efficiency. HMP advocates for inclusive voting, supporting universal eligibility when consensus is reached. If not, parental or tutor hierarchy is preferred. Ultimately, the party holds no fixed positions, as all decisions are made democratically.
Technology Integration: Utilises military-grade cybersecurity and full authentication to validate and secure votes.
Remote Work for Politicians: Politicians can work from anywhere, leveraging the internet and metaverse for governance activities.
Borderless World Vision: Advocates for the phasing out of traditional borders in favor of intelligent organisation through smart devices and modern communication systems.
The Human Machine Party envisions a future where international collaboration and global standards play a crucial role in governance. By working closely with organisations like UNESCO and the United Nations (UN), we aim to promote educational, scientific, and cultural initiatives that transcend national boundaries. Our commitment to UNESCO's mission of building peace through international cooperation aligns with our goal of creating a more interconnected and intelligent world. By leveraging modern communication systems and smart devices, we can support UNESCO and the UN in their efforts to foster sustainable development and global understanding.
The Human Machine Party (HMP) deliberately avoids maintaining a physical headquarters, preferring remote work and a strong cyber presence in the metaverse. This approach aligns with HMP's core principles of flexibility, inclusivity, and modern governance. By leveraging advanced technology, party members can work from any location, reducing the need for costly physical infrastructure and minimising environmental impact. A cyber presence in the metaverse allows for seamless collaboration and communication among members, regardless of geographical barriers. This model promotes a borderless, intelligently organised world, reflecting HMP's vision of an interconnected global community. Additionally, remote work ensures that participation in party activities is accessible to a wider range of individuals, including those who may not be able to relocate or commute to a physical headquarters. By prioritising a digital-first approach, HMP can adapt swiftly to changing circumstances and maintain continuous, real-time engagement with its members and the public. This strategy not only enhances operational efficiency but also underscores the party's commitment to pioneering a new era of governance through technology.
The internal structure of the Human Machine Party (HMP) is designed to maximise transparency, inclusivity, and direct democratic participation. Members of the party vote publicly using X.com (formerly Twitter). If a member is elected to represent the party in a council, parliament, or similar governmental institution, their role is strictly to act as a voice and embodiment of the collective will of the citizens. Decision-making processes are driven by active discussions and debates on dedicated Reddit forums and X.com polling mechanisms. These platforms ensure full authentication and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, verifying the identities of individuals participating in the discussions and polls. This system guarantees that the elected representatives are not making decisions based on personal views but are faithfully representing the consensus reached by authenticated party members. Through this approach, HMP ensures that governance remains truly democratic, reflecting the real-time opinions and desires of its constituents.
Modern Addressing: Proposes the adoption of a universal, metric-based addressing system to improve global connectivity and logistics.
Crowdfunded Basic Income: Party members work as volunteers and crowdfund their basic income.
Charitable Donations: All additional earnings are donated to internationally recognized, non-religious, and non-political organisations such as UNICEF, Red Cross, Amnesty, Greenpeace, Rotary, and GiveDirectly.
The Human Machine Party's dedication to ethical governance is reflected in our volunteer-based model, where all additional earnings are donated to prestigious international organisations. We prioritise contributions to non-religious and non-political entities recognized for their humanitarian work by UNESCO and the United Nations. Our selected beneficiaries, such as UNICEF, the Red Cross, Amnesty, Greenpeace, Rotary, and GiveDirectly, are acknowledged by these esteemed organisations for their impactful contributions to global welfare. This practice underscores our commitment to supporting initiatives that advance human rights, environmental sustainability, and global solidarity.
Twitter: Official polls and updates are shared on the HMP's Twitter account x.com/HumanMachineParty.

The symbol of the party is a compass with 12 cardinal points where we call North, by Womb, South by Man, East by Dial and West by Loon. These four neologisms are used in the symbol figuring the letters W, M, D and L. The compass has 12 cardinal points instead of 8 and so it is a bit of a mix between a compass used to indicate geographical information to navigate and a clock watch with its 12 marks. The motto of the party is: "Womb, Man, Dial and Loon". The motto is designed to be repeated, shaking the hands with one index finger of the left pointing forward and two fingers pointing forward with the right hand, symbolising: we are all one, around the clock towards a new scope of bipolarization in our partisan democracies.
The flag has the logo centred and the motto below it. To represent neutrality, neutral colors and hues with graceful minimalism are preferred.
The Human Machine Party aims to harness the power of technology to create a more fluid, efficient, and inclusive form of democracy. By enabling vote delegation, supporting remote political work, and promoting a borderless, intelligently organised world, HMP envisions a future where governance is more adaptable to the needs and will of the people.
The party's commitment to volunteerism and charitable giving underscores its dedication to global welfare and ethical governance. Through these innovative approaches, the Human Machine Party aspires to become the most popular and influential political movement worldwide, driving significant and positive changes in how societies are governed. Mainstream advertisement and investment in marketing are to be avoided since we have social networks to spread any necessary awareness about our activities with the most transparency and accountability possible.
We salute the pioneering efforts of the sovereign state of Estonia in allowing cybervoting. Estonia has set a remarkable precedent by implementing secure and efficient online voting systems, paving the way for modern democracies worldwide. Their success in this area aligns with the vision of the Human Machine Party to use advanced technology to facilitate inclusive and responsive governance.
The Human Machine Party acknowledges the importance of secure and reliable electronic and cybernetic infrastructure. This infrastructure is crucial for providing freedom and mobility to individuals in the global world and modern economy. While military-grade secure infrastructures are fundamental and worth serious investment, we believe that as societies move towards a unified consciousness, the secrecy of votes may become obsolete.
In the envisioned Golden Age, the need to keep our votes secret may be considered as outdated as keeping our best achievements in school secret. We advocate for a future where votes are publicly visible, celebrating transparency and collective achievements while supporting those who need it. This openness aligns with our vision of a more intelligent and rational organization of societal matters, promoting greater freedom and collaboration.
As we progress into more intelligent and rational ways of budgeting and organizing societal matters, the idea of secrecy in voting may be seen as unnecessary. Just as we celebrate achievements in education, we believe voting transparency will lead to a more supportive and enlightened society.
There is also strong evidence that publishing votes in a most transparent manner makes it impossible for dictators like Alberto João Jardim from Madeira or Alexander Lukashenko from Belarus to keep in power through extreme abuse and careless governance that ego privacy facilitates. Alexander Lukashenko, a prominent political figure, has been serving as the President of Belarus since 1994. His leadership has been marked by a series of controversial policies and actions that have garnered both domestic and international attention. Often referred to as "Europe's last dictator" due to his authoritarian style of governance, Lukashenko's administration has faced significant criticism for human rights abuses, suppression of political opposition, and lack of democratic reforms.
Under Lukashenko's rule, Belarus has maintained a close relationship with Russia, both economically and politically. However, his administration has faced significant criticism for human rights abuses, suppression of political opposition, and lack of democratic reforms. The 2020 presidential election, which Lukashenko claimed to have won by a landslide, sparked widespread protests and accusations of electoral fraud.
Lukashenko's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and his stance on various international issues continue to influence Belarus's position on the global stage. Despite international sanctions and criticism, Lukashenko remains a key player in Belarusian politics. The vision of David Brin in "The Transparent Society" suggests that transparency can prevent such abuses of power and promote a more open and accountable governance system.
